I have worked as a Doctoral Researcher in the Theatre Academy of the University of the Arts Helsinki since Autumn 2015. In my research I investigate ethical questions in and around my work as a dance pedagogue with differently abled people. In 2018-2019 the research is funded by The Finnish Cultural Foundation and The Center for Educational Research and Academic Development in the Arts (CERADA).
As part of my research I am developing artistic-pedagogic practice, leading to the pre-examined artistic part of my doctoral project.
Currently I am also involved in ArtsEqual research initiative, in 'Arts@School' and 'Arts in Health, Welfare and Care' research groups. The ArtsEqual research initiative, coordinated by the University of the Arts Helsinki, examines the arts as public service, with equality as the starting point, and explores how the arts can meet the social challenges of the 2020s.
