I am an interdisciplinary practitioner of performing arts, pedagogy and mental health work, based in Helsinki, Finland. I am currently working as a Doctoral Candidate at The Theatre Academy of the University of the Arts, Helsinki.
I am also a member of Cultural Co-op Kiito, and since 2013 I have facilitated Liikahdus® movement sessions for people with intellectual and developmental disabilities. Liikahdus® is my registered trademark for this work. ('Liikahdus' is a Finnish word for a small movement or change.)
In my doctoral research I investigate ethical questions in and around my work with differently abled people. You can read the abstract of my research plan HERE.
Currently I am also involved in ArtsEqual research initiative, in 'Arts@School' and 'Arts in Health, Welfare and Care' research groups.
